The Inside Broker will focus on maintaining a profitable book of business by fostering relationships with internal and external stakeholders in the E&S, admitted, and non-admitted carriers, including Lloyd's markets. Additionally, they will be responsible for managing an existing Broker's book of business in-house.
Job Description:
Manage and evaluate insurance Brokers' submissions; identify exposures and required coverage.
Assist Broker in managing the service and market placement of their portfolio of commercial insurance accounts.
Cultivate cooperative relationships with retail agencies and brokerages, potentially making marketing calls on behalf of the Broker.
Communicate and negotiate with insurance markets and retail brokers.
Demonstrate broad knowledge of commercial insurance coverages with insurance carriers and other markets.
Identify appropriate markets for quote requests based on coverage requirements.
Follow through with market placements as agreed upon with Broker.
Create submissions to insurance market selections.
Evaluate quotes and contract provisions offered by insurance markets.
Successfully negotiate market placement of new and/or renewal business as directed by the Broker; process bind orders.
Ensure all necessary documents are attached and maintained for the appropriate policy/account.
