Our client, a highly regarded leader in the Excess & Surplus insurance market, is seeking an experienced E&S Casualty Marketing Manager to join their Specialty Casualty Division. This is a strategic, relationship-driven position focused on market growth, carrier and broker engagement, and internal sales enablement.
Unlike traditional marketing roles, this position centers on strengthening relationships, driving distribution, and positioning casualty brokers for success in collaboration with commercial insurance agencies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carrier & Broker Relationship Management
Act as the primary liaison between casualty brokers and insurance carriers to enhance market partnerships.
Coordinate and attend carrier meetings, underwriting visits, and market presentations.
Communicate carrier appetite updates, underwriting guidelines, and product launches to the casualty team.
2. Business Development Support
Partner with casualty brokers to identify new distribution opportunities and niche classes of business.
Develop targeted marketing collateral (presentations, email campaigns, class sheets) to support account growth.
Analyze submission data and track hit ratios, market share, and premium growth to inform sales strategies.
3. Internal Enablement & Training
Educate brokers and producers on market differentiators, coverage solutions, and key selling points.
Create and distribute internal materials such as appetite charts, underwriting updates, and broker one-pagers.
4. Event Planning & Branding
Coordinate broker events, conferences, and client entertainment to build stronger relationships.
Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences, and client meetings.
